BARTAHATCHIE COMMUNITY – Norma Reeves Berry was born January 11, 1938 in Bartahatchie Community to Perry Jackson Reeves and Hettie Pearl Mitchell Reeves and passed away April 14, 2018. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and Salutatorian of her class. She attended I.J.C. at Fulton, MS. She married Charles Adrian Berry on May 12, 1961. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She loved her family and church family. She worked at United Technology in Columbus, MS. for thirty-eight years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Adrian Berry of Hamilton, MS; a daughter Cheryl Ann Plunkett (Danny) of Ponchatoula, LA.; a granddaughter Ashley Kristen Plunkett of Lake Charles, LA.; her brother’s Donald Reeves of Columbus, MS. and Ray Reeves (Ellis) of Gattman, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Edna Faye Reeves and Mary Joyce Reeves Malone.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at New Prospect Baptist Church.
