She worked for the Griffin Lamp Company in Shelby MS, and Glenn Manufacturing in Amory MS from which she retired in 1984. Her family was important to her, and she took care of them well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph and William Moore; her husband, George Herbert Lanier, Jr.; and her son George Herbert Lanier, III. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gene and Charlotte Lanier of Columbus MS; grandchildren Amy Lanier Perkins of Columbus and Stuart Lanier of Starkville MS; and great-grandson Will Perkins. Special thanks to the great staff of Garden Hill Assisted Living and Sylvia Richardson for the care and comfort they provided.
