WESTVILLE -
Services for Jimmye Carter West, 92, who died Wednesday, January
27th at Pioneer Community Hospital of Aberdeen, will be held at 2:00
p.m., Friday, January 29th in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in
Aberdeen with Minister Marshall Eubanks, Jr. officiating. Burial
will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Mrs. West was born in Greenwood Springs to Guy and Lillie Moore Carter.
She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, a homemaker and
retired seamstress for TIL Sportswear in Aberdeen.
She leaves a daughter, Carroll Kornrumpf and husband, David, of
Knoxville, Tennessee; a sister, Doris Simineau of Port Orchard,
Washington; two grandsons, David Kornrumpf, II and wife, Laura and
Dr. Brian Kornrumpf and wife, Kathryn; a great grandson, Nathan
Kornrumpf. She was preceded in death by her parents and a
sister, Laverne Arrant.
Pallbearers are Allen Boyd, Jerry Umfree, Norman Simineau, Wayne West,
Ferrell William and Lee Griffin.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 noon untile time for service,
Friday, January 29th, at the funeral home.
