NETTLETON - Services for Brewer
Kenneth "Bubby" West, 52, who died Sunday at North Mississippi
Medical Center in Tupelo, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March
9th, in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Nettleton Chapel with the Revs.
Horace Barnes and Elbert Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will be in
Summer's Chapel Cemetery in Marietta.
Mr. West was born in Itawamba County to William "Doc" and Lucille Barnes
West. He was a native of Saltillo, but had lived in Shannon for the
past 12 years. He was a former factory worker, U.S. Army veteran and
attended the Church of God. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He leaves his mother, Lucille Barnes West of Shannon; three daughters,
Michelle Hathcock (Roy) of Amory, Brandie Cole and friend, Bobby
Robinson and Kelly Roach (Chris), all of Brewer; a son, Joshua West
and friend, Robyn Poteet of Brewer; a sister, Barbara Christopher
(Perry) of Brewer; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Doc" West.
Pallbearers are Donald Denton, Donald Tubbs, Donny Barnes, Lance Bass,
B.J. McMurry and Will Patterson. Honorary pallbearers are Donald
Johnson, Dean Hogue, Brian Johnson and Joseph Kennedy.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 8th
at the funeral home. |
