NETTLETON - Services for Ruby Louise
Pender Waddle, 88,
who died Tuesday, January 26th at North Mississippi Medical Center
in Tupelo following an extended illness, will be held at 11:00 a.m.,
Thursday, January 28th at the Nettleton Church of Christ with Bro.
Jimmy Bates and Bro. Jeff Bates officiating. Burial will be in the
Nettleton Cemetery.
Mrs. Waddle was born in Fayette, Alabama to Harve and Velma Anthony
Pender. She had lived most of her life in Nettleton, retired from
Delta International Manufacturing Company after almost sixteen years
service, and was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. She
enjoyed fishing, crocheting and working in her flower and vegetable
gardens.
She leaves a daughter, Gail Waddle of Nettleton; a son, Paul Edward
Waddle (Doris) of Nettleton; a sister, Ann Harris (Troy) of
Nettleton; six in-laws, Lucille Pender, Eudell Pender, Nellie Gray,
Jimmie Parker (Walter Lee), all of Nettleton; Leatrice Nanney
(Lloyd) of Skyline, Bryson Waddle, Sr. (Sue) of Plantersville and
special caregivers, Zebbie Caldwell and Betty Bolen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ray Waddle, who died in
1967; her parents; her stepmother, Dulcie Pender, two brothers, B.L.
"Dank" Pender and Leasel Pender.
Pallbearers are Billy Pender, Roger Pender, Justin Pender, Brad Pender,
David Lee Parker and Jimmy Sisk. Honorary pallbearers are Bryson
Waddle, Sr. and Walter Lee Parker.
Memorials may be made to the Nettleton Church of Christ Building Fund,
P.O. Box 97, Nettleton, Mississippi 38858.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January
27th, at the funeral home.
