ABERDEEN - A graveside service
for Maggie McMullan, 94, who died Thursday, February 25th at Oak
Tree Plantation in Amory, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday,
February 27th, at the Masonic Cemetery in Amory with the Rev. Roy
McKay officiating.
Ms. McMullan was born in Reform, Alabama to John Preston and Mamie Rooker
McHenry. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen, where she retired
as personnel manager at Seminole Manufacturing Company. She was a
graduate of Aberdeen High School and a member of First Baptist
Church of Aberdeen.
She leaves six nieces, Mamie Taylor of Aberdeen; Sallye Boyde of
Columbus, Alice Hamil and husband, Ralph, of Madison, Janice Spencer
and husband, Nicky, of West Point, Jean Bolin and husband, James, of
West Point, and Jerri Pierce and husband, Larry, of Amory; two
nephews, Jack Carr and wife, Alice, of Columbus and Billy McHenry
and wife, Glenda, of Pearl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Catherine
Dorsey, Johnnie Carr and Pearl Lowrimore, and a brother, W.P.
McHenry.
Visitation will take place from 1 until 2 p.m., Saturday, February 27th,
at the funeral home.
