for Edna
Earline Cooper, 87, who died Thursday, February 18th at her residence
after an extended illness, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday,
February 20th in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Nettleton Chapel with the
Rev. Jack Ezell officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel
Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Lee County to Bryant and Mary Stanley Cooper. She
was a native of Itawamba County, but had resided in the Richmond
Community for the past sixty years. She was a retired factory worker
and business owner, and a Baptist. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and
working in her gardens.
She leaves two daughters, Nancy Gillentine Hammond (Rich) and Rhonda
Cooper Enlow (Jeff), all of the Richmond Community; a son, James
Cooper (Faye) of Nettleton; a sister, Louise Hill (Forrest) of the
Friendship Community; seven grandchildren, fourteen great
grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Elvin "Dago" Cooper; her parents, a sister
and three brothers.
Pallbearers are Roger Smith, Gary "Big Roge" Rogers, Jerry Sheffield,
Bubba Sheffield, Glynn Rhudy and Mike Turner.
Visitation will take place from 5:00
until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 19th, and will continue one hour
prior to the services Saturday, February 20th, at the funeral home
