ABERDEEN - Services for Jimmy
Kenneth Bowen, 57, who died Friday, February 26th at North
Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, will be held at 2:00 p.m.,
Monday, March 1st in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Aberdeen Chapel with
Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn
Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bowen was born in Columbus to Fred and Mary Elease Bagwell Bowen. He
lived most of his life in Aberdeen and was a graduate of Aberdeen
High School and Itawamba Community College. He was a self employed
contractor.
He leaves a son, Kehli Bowen of Anaheim, California; his mother, Mary
Elease Bagwell Bowen of Aberdeen; three sisters, Lavaughn Long and
husband, Karl, of Florence, Mississippi, Helen Morganstern and
husband, Larry, of Sherwood, Arkansas and Carolyn Gwathney and
husband, Gene, of West Point; a brother, Jerry Wayne Bowen of
Aberdeen; a special friend, Faye Bowen of Aberdeen; two step
daughters, Dawn Rollins and Shelly Bowen; two step sons, Leroy
Baggett and Keith Baggett; five step grandchildren and one step
great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and a
brother, Joseph Bowen.
Pallbearers are Keith Baggett, Heaht Brand, Anthony Gwathney, Tommy
Plunkett, Richard Plunkett and Mike Wofford. Honorary pallbearers
are John Gwathney, David Wofford, Brunson Odom, Leroy Baggett, Joe
McCallum, Dr. Pat Ewing, Dr. Arthur Brown and Dr. Joseph Adams.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February
28th, at the funeral home. |
